![]() ![]() That's when I know to force a restart in Safe Mode. ![]() So I see the drive changing name from "untitled" to "Mac OS Install" to the drive name I assigned. I also screwed up the OCLP install, as such it restarts back into my hard drive (which also has OCLP) in each stage of the install, so I had to restart and force an EFI boot (sounds ominous, but it's just the Option key startup) each time the install goes through a stage. I've been trying OCLP for the last couple of weekends or so, met with failure at all attempts to get Monterey to install (stuck in startup loop) until I figured out that it was the graphics driver causing the problem. As of this post, I'm currently running Monterey 12.2.1 with OCLP 0.4.3 (Opencore Legacy Patcher) on an external-mounted 2TB Kingston NV1 on my MBP 2014 (11.3).
